Appleseed Quilters Guild
is an incorporated, charitable, non-profit organization with the purpose of stimulating and creating an interest in making, collecting and preserving quilts. We meet at the Classic Cafe Event Center, 4832 Hillegas Road in Fort Wayne, Indiana, at 6:00 pm on the first Tuesday of every month. There is a half hour of socializing, with the meeting starting at 6:30 pm and usually ending by 9 pm. Guests are welcome to attend three meetings without paying dues, which are $30.00 for the year.
Our primary charity project supports Camp Watcha-Wanna-Do. We give quilts to children who have been diagnosed with cancer and who attend this camp. The quilts are displayed, and each child chooses one to use at the camp and then to take home. Every member is encouraged to donate a lap-sized quilt or two to this project each year.
Our members include all levels of quilting experience — novice, intermediate and advanced. If you want to meet other quilters, do charity projects, learn to quilt or discover new quilting techniques,
